Getting to Casa Ana

Getting to Casa Ana

By Air

Most international flights land at Malaga airport, 2 hours’ drive away. It’s worth also checking flights into Granada airport (90 minutes away). Many budget airlines operate daily direct flights to Malaga including Easyjet and Ryanair, British Airways, Iberia, Bmibaby, Flybe, and many others.

By Car

We recommend car hire as the best way of getting to Casa Ana, and getting around the Alpujarras. There is a wide choice of car hire companies at both airports

Car parking: free parking is available in the plaza, a couple of minutes’ walk (94 metres) from the house.

By Bus

Buses run three times daily from Granada to the village of Pitres (the nearest bus stop to Ferreirola). From Malaga there are daily buses via Orgiva or Granada. See the ALSA Bus Service website for timetables and prices. Or visit the Google Transit website for route and timetable planning from Malaga or Granada.

By Taxi

Taxis and minibuses are available from both airports. We can book a taxi or minibus for you in advance.
